Jill is an award-winning director with a strong bias for growth and commercial success. She has had a varied career, including experience in multinationals, not-for-profit and the private sector. Her first job was in the hospitality sector and she returned to the sector she loves in 1998 as director of a specialist hospitality training organisation.
Jill is a member of the British Institute of Innkeepers, and a Fellow of the Hospitality Professionals Association (HOSPA) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. In 2006 Jill co-founded HIT Training Ltd together with colleagues from a previous training company; HIT now employs over 500 people, and has supported over 50,000 apprentices and 8,000 employers. HIT Training has been inspected by Ofsted four times and has been judged “Good” on every inspection. The company has been listed in the ‘Times Best Companies to Work For’ three times. On a personal level Jill has been named Institute of Directors’ Director of the Year for the South East & London and is listed in the Shine Awards 100 Most Influential Women in Hospitality.
